Laserfiche 10.4 now available
The Laserfiche 10.4 release includes a variety of new features, such as extension of Federated Search capabilities, improvements to the handling of Microsoft Office documents, the ability to assign a map location to a document, and more flexible records management options. In addition, the 10.4 release includes many bug fixes and performance enhancements.

Laserfiche 10.2.1 Released
Laserfiche has announced the release of Laserfiche Rio, Laserfiche Avante, and Laserfiche Connector 10.2.1. This is a maintenance release nad includes the Laserfiche Server, Windows client, web client, Forms, Workflow, App, Discussions, Federated Search, and Connector.
Laserfiche Forms is now available in two editions: Forms Essentials, which contains core features necessary to design processes and forms, and Forms Professional, which contains the complete Forms feature package, including data lookups, the performance dashboard, reporting options, and support for payment gateways.

Laserfiche Product Roadmap 2017
There are some great things on the Laserfiche product roadmap for this year that our customers would be interested in. For example in Q2 we will see Laserfiche Forms 10.2.1, which will add payment gateway support to user tasks. Also it is very exciting to await the release of the Laserfiche Process Automation Suite – a brand new unified platform for managing all your process automation needs in Laserfiche. New Laserfiche CEO, President Announced
Laserfiche announced that its executive board has appointed Chris Wacker as the company’s CEO and Karl Chan as the company’s president. Wacker, who has served as the company’s Executive Vice President since 2011, joined Laserfiche in 1987. He will take over the role from company founder Nien-Ling Wacker, who sadly passed away from a long-term illness on October 19.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nien-Ling Wacker, the founder of Laserfiche. She was an inspiration to all who knew her. Nien-Ling loved Laserfiche and the Laserfiche community, and her singular vision of developing software that people love to use and creating a place people love to work are the foundation of Laserfiche. We know that the current Laserfiche leadership team will continue the work she loved so much and make the company, community and product that were so important to her stronger than ever.

Once forms have been submitted, user-defined approval processes and task lists ensure appropriate action is taken quickly. There are some great new feature sin release 9.1, including approving tasks via replying directly to email notifications and the ability to add CAPTCHA authentication to public-facing forms in order to prevent bots from filling and submitting forms.
